RENOVATIONS AND MAINTENANCE WORKER
What You Will Do
- Execute minor repair work including heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contract tradespersons for major repairs
- Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting, drywall, minor plumbing, and minor electrical needs
- Provide general assistance to skilled tradespersons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, plumbers and others
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Facilitate floor installations and cabinet installs
- Any other additional minor repairs as needed
- Perform inspection of building systems as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Other duties as required
Your Experience and Education
- Previous experience in maintenance or renovations
considered an asset - Mobility in tight spaces
- Red Seal certification or Building Operator certification
considered an asset - High school diploma required

- Previous renovation work experience
- A reliable vehicle

- Excellent communication skills; understanding both oral and written instruction in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional
weekends and holidays - Provide proof of double COVID vaccination

- Strong attention to detail
- An inquisitive growth mindset
- Willing to undergo a criminal record check
- Ability to frequently lift up to 40lbs unassisted and
occasionally lift over 40lbs, assisted - Willingness to stand, sit, walk, bend, and kneel for sustained periods
